Boney M. – Rivers of Babylon MP3 Download
The Rastafarian song Rivers of Babylon was originally written and recorded in 1970 by Brent Dowe and Trevor McNaughton of Jamaican reggae group The Melodians. The song’s lyrics are adapted from the texts of Psalms 19 and 137 in the Hebrew Bible.
In 1978, German disco group Boney M released a rocksteady disco version of the song from their third studio album Nightflight to Venus, which turned out to be very popular and successful.
